Amongst London’s top hotels are the Ritz, The Savoy, The Berkeley Hotel, and The Waldorf Hilton Hotel.

First opening in 1906, The Ritz offers its guests antique furnishings, each room having high speed internet access, triple glazed windows, en-suite bathrooms, luxury toiletries and bathrobes, entertainment facilities such as television and CD player, air conditioning and a minibar. Dinner is a formal occasion and dress codes apply, meaning that men must wear a dinner jacket. Classical cuisine is served, with dinner and a dance along with a four piece band on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Savoy first opened in 1989. The majority of its rooms have views of the Thames, and all rooms have the usual amenities and a variety of styles, ranging from Art deco to a contemporary or traditional style. The hotel offers many dining facilities, including the Savoy Grill, which is one of London’s top restaurants. Nearby attractions include the National Gallery and the Theatre Museum.

The Berkeley Hotel opened in 1972, and is located near Knightsbridge, opposite Hyde Park. This hotel has won numerous awards, including one for Pétrus, which is a top quality restaurant located in the hotel which offers guests private facilities and the chance to view the kitchen. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities, including business facilities and entertainment facilities in rooms, such as satellite TV, CD and film library and a DVD player.   

Built in 1908, The Waldorf Hilton Hotel is used by celebrities from all over the world during their stay in London, and offers luxury rooms, with 100% cotton duvets and 17 inch thick mattresses. The plasma televisions in the rooms are wall-mounted, with pay-per-view games and films, and there are also tea and coffee facilities, a safe, and broadband internet access. The hotel also provides fitness facilities, with a health club known as L.A. Fitness, which offers a wide range of exercise equipment, exercise classes, Jacuzzi, sauna and much more. There is also a business centre which has seven meeting rooms which hold up to 400 people and have internet.
